Oriel Savir

Oriel Savir is a senior at Scarsdale High School in Scarsdale, New York. He has a great passion for science, especially biology, and statistics. Oriel is the captain of his school’s Science Olympiad team, ranked highly in New York State. He also has deep biological research experience and is currently working on research under a NASA scientist in a laboratory he set up at home, thinking about how life can be sustained in space for future generations. At the Coronavirus Visualization Team (CVT), Oriel leads the “Analyzing Data of SARS-CoV-2 Antibody Tests” project. In his free time, Oriel is an unpaid tutor and likes coding, spending time with his friends, and finding samples to view under his microscope.
