Panel to the People (P2TP) is hosting a webinar called “Fenomena in STEM” on April 3rd, at 3 pm EDT: a panel that spotlights the success and challenges of women in STEM across diverse fields despite social, economic, political, and cultural barriers.
Our panelists are: Dr. Sunčica Čanić (UC Berkeley Math Professor, recognized by Congress as one of the Top Women in Tech in 2006), Dr. Sabine Stanley (Professor of Earth/Planetary Sciences at John Hopkins and physicist, trained at Harvard), Dr. Ernestine Chaco (JD/MD from UC Davis, Indigenous and Intersectional Healthcare activist), Ms. Prabitha Ganesh, MBA (co-chair of the Women in Technology Employee Resource Group, Cornell), and Ms. Kathryn Hunt, MSc, (archaeologist, physical anthropologist, UCLA).
